Roy's Amboy CA Route 66 Roy's Cafe on Route 66 now National Trails Highway has the most iconic sign of Route 66. This Cafe and Bungalows served Route 66 Travelers for years, before it was by passed in 1972. Established in 1938 by Roy Crowl it had several more bungalow than are seen today. The cafe and motel once employed 70 people. Today it employs 2-3. Albert Okura of the Juan Pollo chain purchased the property. Recently the sign was restored repainted and the neon lighted once more.
