The Oceanside Surf Museum tells the history of Surfing over the years, from the first boards, to the modern fiberglass editions. Told in Chronological order and well displayed you can see how the sport evolved and how now surfers are hitting the giant waves with jet skis that would not have been possible in days gone by. One of the highlights of the exhibit is Bethany Hamilton's board and swimsuit that she was wearing when she lost her arm in a shark attack. That did not deter her from going on to win titles. Love of surfing or a wanna be? the museum is a great place to visit. 312 Pier View Way Oceanside Ca C2CL 9 Oceanside Surf Museum by California to Chicago Photography
